A trip from Frankfurt Airport to Seligenstadt

There are many ways to get from Frankfurt Airport to our hotel. We recommend the train as an alternative to a taxi (which costs around € 60).

So you've flown into Frankfurt Airport. If you landed in Terminal 2 or 3, you need to use the free SkyLine train between the terminals to get to Terminal 1. Look for signs pointing to Terminal 1 or SkyLine. The journey between the terminals takes about 2 minutes, with a frequency of every 1.5 minutes.

Once at Terminal 1, head for the exit and look for signs pointing to the regional train station ("Regionalbahnhof").

The railway station is on the underground floor.

Attention! Near the airport there is also a long-distance train station in a separate building — you do not need it! You only need the regional train station!

Before boarding, buy a ticket from the machine. Enter the name of our town — Seligenstadt. The ticket costs € 11.50 (as of 07.2026).

Take the escalator down to platform 1 and check the information board for the S8 or S9 train in the direction of Hanau. Take this train — Hanau is the end of the line, so you cannot miss it. Trains run every 20–30 minutes.

Get off in Hanau and make your way to platform 106 to catch the RB 86 train in the direction of Groß-Umstadt-Wiebelsbach. The third stop is Seligenstadt. Leave the station towards the Altstadt: with your back to the station building, you are on the right side. Directly in front of you, perpendicular to the tracks, runs Bahnhofstraße; about 50 metres along to the right, Würzburger Straße begins. Walk two blocks down this street and you will find yourself in front of our hotel. The whole trip takes 1 to 1.5 hours with good connections.

Of course there are other routes, and experienced travellers will find them on their own. We have described the simplest and most straightforward way.

A trip from Seligenstadt to the Frankfurt trade fair

• Walk to Seligenstadt station, take the RB 86 to Hanau and transfer to the S8 or S9 in the direction of Wiesbaden. Ride the S-Bahn to the Konstablerwache stop. There, transfer to the U4 underground towards Frankfurt Bockenheimer Warte and get off at the fourth stop, Frankfurt Messe. You're there!
• If you prefer not to change to the U-Bahn, take the S-Bahn to Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof and walk about 2 km to the trade fair.
